A VIP table at Istar Club Madrid — written Ïstar or IŠTAR depending on where you look — starts at around €400 minimum spend. Entry on its own, without a table, is around €25 depending on the day.
These are guide prices and they move with the season, the event and the specific table. We say it plainly because nobody else does: a table price is not a fixed rate, it is a range that depends on the night.
The most common misunderstanding is thinking the minimum spend is the price of getting in. It is not. The minimum spend is money you drink, not money you pay for access.
Put another way: if your group was going to drink anyway, the table is not an extra cost. It is the way to drink sitting down, without queuing, in a good spot.
A Thursday is not a Saturday. High-demand nights carry higher minimums, simply because more people are asking for the same tables.
The front line of the dancefloor and the areas beside the booth are the most sought after. A table in a raised or quieter zone comes in well below one in the middle of the action.
Guest DJs, special dates and holiday eves push minimums up.
A standard table usually takes 5 to 8 people. Bigger groups need larger areas, with a proportionally higher minimum.
You can. Single entry is around €25 and often includes a drink depending on the day and time. That said, arriving with no list and no table leaves you exposed to the queue and to door policy, which at Istar is strict. If there are several of you, the gap between paying individual entries and splitting a table across the group is smaller than it looks.

For celebrations, what makes the difference is not the price but the table you are given and the time you arrive. A birthday with a table in a good area, set up before the group walks in, gets arranged days ahead — not on the night.
